THEM THEYARERICH

Them Theyarerich is product of colourful passion without intellect. Them was born the son of a farmer in Shrule; a suburb of Galway, Ireland. Though both of his parents were born in Ireland, his lineage is one of a family gathering nightmare. On his mother's side; his grandmother is from Spain and his grandfather is from France. On his father's side, his Grandmother is from Nigeria and his grandfather is from Germany.

After demonstrating fantastic football (soccer) skills on the playground, Them's teachers, coaches, and family helped him pursue a professional football career. He found professional football quite frustrating because it seemed he was always being replaced by the next up and coming Brazilian. Off the pitch he endured a great amount of discrimination for being Irish.

In a fit of desperation, Them turned to what he does best: he got drunk.

Once he ran out of money, he found that people were willing to buy him more beer and even food for playing a few tunes on his guitar. While being useless and busking for beers at Egan's Pub, he met his future wife, Maggie Dunne. This perfect woman could not only play and sing like an angel, but she was rude, treated him like dirt, and drank him under the table. So far, in fact, that he swears he woke up in China. In an attempt to win her heart, Them decided to pursue music as a profession. So he dropped his Irish name and adopted his French grandfather's name Theyareriche, and headed to the land of ambiguity: the USA. Upon arriving in the states, he saw how hated the french were, so he dropped the "e" to hide his french heritage, and became Theyarerich.

Them's first American gig was playing drums for a metal band at a wedding gig for deaf people. In an attempt to expand his horizons, he continued to play with metal bands, jazz bands, rock bands, concert bands, A cappella groups, musical theatre productions (both on stage and in the pit), and symphonic orchestras. He even studied at a university, which he can not be associated with at this time due to legal reasons. There he met Bob the Guitar Whore who constantly encouraged him to keep writing and playing regardless of his band situation. Bob has even helped Them produce some of the Rough Cut recordings. His pursuit of music knowledge led him back to Europe, where he toured through Italy, France, Switzerland, Ireland, and England. He spent quite a few years in London studying from and playing with Guitar Gods: Odds Bodkins and Tony Hallinan.

Them has returned the US, but only temporarily. He is always following his sound with the hopes that it will one day lead him back to the home land and the woman who still inspires him to dream. "You hold my heart Maggie. Be careful with it, you already destroyed my liver......"

THE SPOOKY DONKEY

The Spooky Donkey, Them Theyarerich's original drummer of intrigue, was born
and raised in Papua New Guinea by a pack of feral housecats and attended
school at the University of New Hampshire on the highly sought-after Mittens
Scholarship. Originally trained in classic Swiss yodeling, The Spooky Donkey
picked up the drums when Them invited him to step in on tamborine during an
impromptu gig at a Portland gas station.

Using his past as a low-level mafia thug and his mastery of the ancient feline martial art of Cat Kwan Do, The Spooky Donkey won Them's trust and respect by mauling a gas station attendant who called the police on the Portland show.

The Spooky Donkey has spent the last three years studying the drumset and teaching himself the ins and outs of rock and roll with the Them Theyarerich Rock Trio, and is the only band member to win a Grammy (off of Phil Collins in a poker game in 2005). He tends to be skittish around crowds, but gets along well with
strangers, so if you see him, buy him some scotch and introduce yourself.

Da JIBBA

Da Jibba was raised on the lower slopes of the Tibetan Himalayas by a group of separatist monks. This group of monks was the first to abandon the traditional hymnal style of song and gravitated toward a country-western expression. Though the monks attenpted earnestly to infuse Da Jibba with this ideology, especially as he was the first goat-horn player any of them had ever heard, he decided at a young age that country-western sounded more like a chorus of dying yaks than music.

He set out to travel the world learning the ways of music and women wherever he went, making barely enough money through his talents of coffee-making and basket weaving. He eventually settled in the strange land of New Hampshire where he discovered American rock and roll to be the greatest form of music and his one True Calling.

Da Jibba frequented sessions of musical and lyrical poetry at local watering holes, and featured the many different instruments he had learned in his travels. He met Them when, after a particularly intense rendition of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" on the sitar, Them was immediately very impressed and introduced himself. He suggested Da Jibba try playing the instrument in his band, The Them Theyarerich Rock Trio. It didn't quite work, so he switched to electric guitar.

When interviewed by the band, Da Jibba was asked by the Spooky Donkey what he thought about joining the group. He responded, "I have always wanted to be the fourth member of a rock trio."

NOBODY

Nobody plays the bass. Nobody is here to establish the low end. Nobody is there to help!

THE JUICE

The Juice met Them, the lead singer, during an intense knife fight on the West Side of New York City in 1961, and has been a huge fan ever since. Contrary to many beliefs, The Juice is not OJ Simpson in disguise--she has not killed anyone and she does not know how to play football. She is, however, part of the Stauble Gang of Gray that is responsible for many uprisings in India, Peru, and Ethiopia.

The Juice has spent her last three months writing journal entries for English in the fall about books she has absolutely no interest in. She does enjoy long, romantic walks on the beach, as well as talks about poetry and music. She is a Pisces and hopes you enjoy the show!

THE REVEREND LOVE SHOT

His Roundness, BB the Love Shot, aka Beebalicious Funkadelic, aka The Big
Gooey, was born on a mountain-side farm in rural Alexandria, NH. It was
there he was raised by a generation of hippies and some really cool
grandparents. Music was everywhere, from Black Sabbath to Benny Goodman,
Joe Cocker to John Lennon, Dylan to the Dead, something was always playing
in the 8-track or on the turntable. The grandparents had built a band
platform out in the field, and hosted many a kegger on the weekends for all
the long hairs in the community (they were really cool), providing music and
entertainment for neighbors and fans alike, at one point becoming the
largest outdoor (or indoor) venue in a 6 town radius.

During the week, young BB attended rehearsal for his father's psychedelic rock group, " The Smith River Band", where he'd watch his father drum and Fletcher DeWolf make his guitar howl and cry (a sound he strives to achieve to this day). When he wasn't there, he was with his mother, a folk guitarist and opera singer,
who would teach him the ways of peace and love and understanding and big
flowers and happiness, all of which would fade from his world on a sad day
in 1980...

When Beebalicious came into his own, he pursued the art of percussion, playing in Durham and Dover, NH, and Framingham, Ma, with such bands as "Stift", "Hot Fudge Love", and "Green Salad and the Midget Tossers". It was then he realized that he could not express himself the way he needed through drumming. That and it was mighty hard to serenade a lady while banging the skins, especially with such angry bands. Putting his angst behind him, he struck out on the open road, looking for the crossroads. He found the intersection of doom, and as the path stood before him, he realized he had two choices, to dedicate himself to interpretive dance or
becoming the greatest unknown guitar player. He made his choice, and signed
with Lucifer. Unfortunately, the devil failed in his obligation to make BB the greatest interpretive dancer EVER. So, with his soul returned, Satan crushed, and his body healed from the great "We are the World" interpretive dance-athon catastrophe of 2001, The Love Shot picked up the guitar. Everyone was grateful (except for his roommates.)

While in pursuit of his own individualized sound, The Big Gooey met up with an
amazing and talented man named Them Theyarerich. A multi-instrumentalist, and a local legend in his own right, Them spent countless hours with His Roundness, sharing in the ways of the force and the great song, eventually introducing him to the Spooky Donkey. The Donkey and the Love Shot fired Them after their first gig, and continued to do so after every gig and rehearsal, without fail. Now, only those with the truest faith will be able to see him with the trio.
